It may be greyer than usual in Soustres, but that doesn’t mean we can’t offer you a wide range of activities and events! To share moments of culture and conviviality with you, in February we’re taking part in 2 events<\/strong> of a different kind in terms of their purpose and ambition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAZZ A BAYSSAN<\/strong> is organized by Sc\u00e8ne de Bayssan<\/strong> (H\u00e9rault department) in the domain of the same name, a five-minute<\/strong> drive west of B\u00e9ziers.
The other is a more confidential event<\/strong>, RENCONTRES on the theme of Wine & Romanity<\/strong>, organized on the initiative and by students on the Charg\u00e9 d’Accueil Touristique et de Loisirs (CATL) <\/strong>course at Greta H\u00e9rault Ouest, <\/strong>and taking place at the Domaine de Soustres.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jazz & Wines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the festival from Friday February 2 to Saturday February 4, we’ll be present under the big top<\/strong> (heated, rest assured!) of the H\u00e9rault department. Along with our fellow winemakers<\/strong>, we’ll be representing the IGP wines of the H\u00e9rault region, in this case Coteaux d’Ens\u00e9rune<\/strong>. It’s a unique opportunity to get to know your producers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll be able to combine concerts<\/strong>, lectures<\/strong> and master-classes <\/strong>(download the full program below) with the pleasures of a gourmet market<\/strong> and wine tastings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R\u00e4yann will be there for 3 days to welcome you to our tasting area and present our white, ros\u00e9, red and orange cuv\u00e9es<\/strong>, new releases<\/strong> and recent vintages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can buy wine by the glass (2\u20ac) or by the bottle (10\u20ac to 15\u20ac)<\/strong>, with a snack or meal, in an area equipped with tables and chairs. It will also be possible to take your own wine away<\/strong>, with bottles and boxes of our vintages available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vin et Romanit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It will have escaped no one’s notice that Domaine de Soustres is located on the hill of Enserune<\/strong>, which has been occupied since the 6th century BC<\/strong> by men and women of different origins<\/strong> in a fortified site known <\/strong>as the oppidum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was undoubtedly this privileged<\/strong> position and the age of our estate<\/strong> that motivated the students from Greta H\u00e9rault Oues<\/strong>t to ask us to host a one-afternoon meeting on the theme of wine<\/strong> and romance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a way for these future Tourism and Leisure Welcome Managers<\/strong> to put into practice the knowledge acquired during their training, and to put their skills to the test in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
