Behind the scenes of bottling: a precise and meticulous ballet
After several months of patience and work in the vineyards and in the cellar, comes the long-awaited moment: bottling. This stage marks the final stretch before our wines reach your tables. But do you know how it works? As we do not have our own bottling line, we call on a service provider who transforms our cellar into a real packaging workshop for a day. Come and take a look behind the scenes of this impressive and rigorous process with us.
Careful preparation
Even before the first bottles are filled, a lot of logistical work is required. The cellar is completely emptied to accommodate the equipment. Each element is carefully prepared: empty bottles, labels, boxes, cushioning and of course, the wine. Everything must be ready to ensure a smooth flow once the bottling line is in place.

A well-rehearsed choreography

As we do not have our own installation, we call on a specialized service provider with whom we have worked in confidence for years, the Artisans de la Mise en Bouteille, based in the Pyrénées Orientales. The team arrives with its truck, a real mobile factory, and deploys all the equipment. In a few moments, a complete bottling line is set up in our cellar. This installation allows us to fill, cork, cap and dress each bottle with precision and speed.
A mobile bottling line
Once the machine is up and running, a whole ballet begins. The machines and our team members work hand in hand to ensure an efficient and precise rhythm. Each bottle follows a well-defined path: filling, closing, labeling, and boxing. Everything must be perfectly synchronized to guarantee an impeccable result.
This month, we bottled our Cuvées les Grenaches, white and rosé. In a few months, it will be the turn of our more elaborate wines, like Linium… and perhaps a new one to discover. Stay tuned, the rest promises to be exciting!
